We all recognise the number of diets and the options which are available to those of us looking to lose some weight. The problem is do we recognise the fact that constant dieting and Fad diets may be doing more harm than good.

The big danger with fad diets is to your sense of self, your motivation and self esteem failure will of course destroy all of these leaving you much less likely to lose weight.

The best weight loss diets will see you sticking with foods which you like just perhaps cutting back on how much you eat. Remember your body needs fat and it needs the other food groups, so adding some vegetables and fruit will also help.
We all know that it is critical to exercise regularly and have a fair understanding that many forms of exercise will work such as walking a little bit each day. Just park the car at the back of the car park will provide some well needed exercise. We do not need to go to the gym everyday but we do need to build some exercise into our weight loss programme.
Getting out and about will help us to build up more healthy pursuits than sitting watching TV and it also helps us to get a good night’s sleep which is critical to weight loss.
