I came across a great website really called David Fleet Photography which features the landscape photography of professional landscape photographer David Fleet.

David is based on the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland which are a group of islands lying off the North West coast of mainland Scotland.

The islnad chain is know for its beautiful scenery including some of the best beaches in the world and also some fantastic walking terrain, particularly in the hills of Harris.

The islands are also known for their dramatic weather with storm force winds regularly battering the islands and torrential rain being a common occurrence.

David moved to the islands to devote himself to his landscape photography and I must say it has been worth his while because he is producing some beautiful photography of the islands. He captures the stunning scenery up there so well and is also using the fantastic Hebridean light to great effect.

As an events planner I use digital prints a lot as they are quick and easy to organize. Recently I planned a golf day and used a variety of digital prints to make the day fun and festive. Large events such as golf days often have a few sponsors who expect to be mentioned for their efforts. To satisfy them I usually print large, colorful stand alone banners that I dot around the premises. The companies also have the option of bringing their own if they prefer. Everyone loves getting things for free and that is why you will always walk away from one of my golf days with a novelty gift of some sort. For this particular golf day I paid my local print store to make coffee mugs for the golf day with the dates and place of the golf day printed onto the mug. In the case of events where there is only one sponsor that company would feature on the coffee mug.

I don’t know why dinosaurs get so much attention all the time, but kids are just crazy for them. Their are dinosaur sheets, dinosaur shower curtains, dinosaur toys, dinosaur pajamas, even dinosaur toothbrushes. The T-Rex is especially big, though it seems some kids get stuffy about the T Rex being for the masses of generalist dinosaur fans, while they are more educated and prefer other more interesting dinoaurs like the Brachiosaurus. If you ever want to hear a completely hysterical conversation, listen to two or more dinosaur afficianado ten year olds correct and enlighten each other about the ferocious benefits of each different dinosaur, especially when they get talking about who could take on who. Once they start reminding each other that some challengers lived in different periods, like millions of years apart, they often decide to break the rules. For me, any dinosaur will do, but I always thought the Triceratops was cool. Maybe I’m a snob too.
